We provide “hydration for the human race” by building cutting-edge Active Hydration™ systems for active people doing active things. 

Born in Motorsports & Powersports, our products are now relied on by winning NASCAR, IndyCar, Trophy Truck, and other professional racing teams.

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, Headsets with a focus on 3D modeling in Creo, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our next-generation headset products. You will be part of a dynamic team contributing to design from conceptual sketches to market-ready consumer electronics. Your expertise in mechanical design, particularly in headset components and assemblies, will ensure our products are innovative, visually compelling, and optimized for performance and manufacturability.

What You Own

  • Design
  • Mechanical design and aesthetic development of new consumer electronic headset products from initial concept to production, ensuring design integrity and brand alignment. 
  • Design and optimize headset components using Creo, including detailed modeling of all parts and assemblies to meet specified technical requirements and operational efficiencies. 
  • Conduct analyses on headset performance, employing Creo simulations to evaluate mechanical stability, durability, and ergonomic comfort. 
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to translate 3D models into production-ready drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate and feasible fabrication. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues related to headset components, applying engineering principles and Creo modeling tools to improve reliability and functionality. 
Engineering Excellence
  • Solve complex design and engineering challenges, focusing on innovation, cost-efficiency, performance, and environmental sustainability. 
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with electrical engineers, industrial designers, product managers, and manufacturing experts to integrate seamless mechanical designs with electronic systems, ensuring both manufacturability and design excellence. 
Simulation and Validation
  • Employ advanced simulation tools to test design concepts, validate functionality and compliance with regulatory standards, and ensure the durability and reliability of products under real-world conditions. 
Prototyping and Material Science
  • Guide the prototyping process, selecting cutting-edge materials and overseeing the fabrication process to test and refine product designs. 
Innovation and Trend Analysis
  • Keep a pulse on the latest trends in design and mechanical engineering, incorporating emerging technologies and materials to stay ahead of industry curves. 
Leadership and Development
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team. 
What You Bring
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field, supplemented by experience in design engineering or relevant years of experience. 
  • Professional Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and NPI, with a strong portfolio in the consumer electronics sector showcasing both functional and aesthetic achievements. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in 3D CAD, Creo, and simulation software, with a deep understanding of material properties, modern fabrication processes, and mechanical systems integration. 
  • Design for Excellence: Demonstrated experience with DFM, DFA, and FMEA, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating products that blend form and function seamlessly. 
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to navigate complex design challenges, with a proven track record of innovative solutions and product successes. 
  • Communication and Leadership: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of driving projects forward and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
