Position Summary : The CDL Cement Equipment Operator operates and maintains equipment used for cementing and acidizing. They also perform pre-job and toolbox meetings with crew members.
Key Roles / Responsibilities :

• Operates cement pumping and mixing equipment, including blenders, liquid additive metering systems, and cementing plug releasing tools.
• Transports equipment to and from the well location.
• Performs day-to-day inspections, servicing, and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensures job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Participates in pre-job and toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Ensures individual and crew work safety.
• Assists in various aspects of acidizing and cementing operations.
• Adheres to all well-service health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Adheres to all company operational policies.
• Safely rigs up high pressure iron and hoses as required to perform well service.
• Performs routine maintenance on all assigned service equipment.
• Maintains and submits timely daily driver log reports, equipment/truck reports, Individual Vehicle Driver's Record (IVDRs), and other paperwork as required.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain Class A license with hazmat endorsement in good standing - required.
• Complete and abide by all safety training and other provided training requirements.
• Appropriate communication skills for coordination of the well service activities with crew members and supervisory staff.
• Travel to job location and could include extensive out of town travel.
• Sensitive to confidential information.
• Must work independently and as a member of a team.

Working Conditions :

• Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting stand, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, pull, push, climb, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and see and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.
• The essential duties of this position require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying.
• Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics, and tunnels and demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Exposure to moderate noise levels, vibrations, and bright lights; and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases; and all climate types including hot and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, etc.
• Able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats when needed.
• React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
• Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
• Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
