FlyRoute is Hiring an Operations Specialist Near Lakewood, CO

We are hiring an Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a part-time, seasonal, and remote contract position! This role is perfect for someone who wants to enter the athletic film industry, gain experience, and receive on-the-job training.

About Us: FlyRoute is a Professional Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS / Drone) company based in Denver, CO. Our mission is to help visionary athletic programs WIN more by utilizing drone technology.

Job Overview: Our drone pilots capture videos of hundreds of high school football games. We need to ensure that each game film is uploaded on time and meets our standards. FlyRoute is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Operations Specialist to join our team. This part-time, remote position is ideal for someone looking to work in operations while having the flexibility to work from home. The Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our drone footage, managing timely and accurate uploads, and supporting various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm all game film is properly uploaded into Hudl on the day of the event.
  • Review game film to ensure it meets our quality standards.
  • Provide weekly feedback to drone pilots to help them improve.
  • Disseminate best practices and lessons learned to all drone pilots.
  • Troubleshoot any upload issues and coordinate with technical support as needed.
  • Regularly meet with management to communicate pilot performance and needs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • We are seeking someone interested in gaining experience in athletic film.
  • You should be willing to learn how to use Hudl.com, our film storage website.
  • We want someone who is detail-oriented and can communicate effectively.
  • Strong time-management skills and a keen eye for quality.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote work environment.

What We Offer:

  • Pay: $20-25 per hour (1099 contract)
  • Schedule: Thursday through Monday. Hours are flexible. Select night work - Thursday & Friday. Seasonal work - July through November.
  • Hours per week: 10-15 hours per week depending on volume of games

Example Schedule:

Thur:

8PM - 11PM: 3 Hours

Fri:

8PM - 11PM: 3 Hours

Sat / Sun / Mon: 10 flexible hours
