Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Accountant for our Reconciliations team to become an integral part of our dynamic finance team.
This role is Baltimore based, and would need to be in office 3 days a week.
What you'll do:

• Balance sheet account reconciliation
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve variances
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and present to Senior leadership
• Assist with annual audits
• Prepare accurate general ledger entries

Who you are:

• You have progressive years of experience working as a Staff Accountant, in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
• You are strong in technical accounting
• 2-3 years of experience if general ledger account reconciliation
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with competing internal customers to completion.
• Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills
• You consider yourself advanced at Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookups)
• Team player with the ability to function independently in a multi-task environment
• You are process driven and have experience driving process improvements in your work and team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

The Interview Process:
Every role starts the same, an introductory call with someone from our Talent Acquisition team. We will be looking for company and values-fit as well as your professional experience; there may be some technical role-specific questions during this call.
Every role is different after the initial call, but you can expect to meet several people from the team 1:1 and there might be further skill assessments in the form of a Take Home Assignment/Case Study Presentation or Pair Programming/Live Coding exercise depending on the role. In your initial call, we will walk you through exactly what to expect the process to be.
