As a Janitorial Worker, you will be responsible for the general cleaning of an office and clinical setting. You will be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your duties will include cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and removing trash and recycling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all surfaces including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures
• Restock all supplies, including paper products, hand soap, and hand sanitizer
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Use and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning chemicals
• Ensure all areas are free from hazards and comply with safety standards
• Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor
• Follow cleaning schedule and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
• Respond to any cleaning emergencies or special requests as needed
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with staff, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
