Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting person with accounts receivable and accounts payable experience. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of accounting basics and be familiar with accounting terms and principles. Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve disputes with customers and vendors.
• Post vendor invoices to the financial system.
• Review and post customer payments upon receipt.
• Process bank deposits using bank cloud software.
• Conduct receivables collection activities.
• Maintain vendor and customer records.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
• Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel, etc.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for numbers.
• Possess strong data entry and word processing skills.
• Maintain a well-organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Must be able to work in-person during training; hybrid schedule may be available after 90 days.
• Flexibility to work 20-30 hours a week, Mon-Thu, preferably
