Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Nursing, or designee, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to the patients and providing direction and supervision to non-professional personnel in the provision of direct patient care.
BS/BSN, AD or Diploma with at least five (5) years of nursing experience; preferably two (2) year of Chemical Dependency Nursing in addition to basic nursing experience; a current Tennessee Registered Nursing License; a current status in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider per Nursing Department policy. Attends all required Focus Healthcare programs annually. Meets and maintains appropriate level of facility and unit educational requirements. Completes nursing orientation checklist and annual competencies.
