The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) plays a crucial role within our care team, impacting the lives of patients and residents daily. As a GNA, you will provide comprehensive nursing care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver superior care and service to patients/residents and their families.
- Create a compassionate environment that respects the individual needs and rights of patients/residents.
- Assist in providing clinical care as directed by healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
Submission of current documentation (within the last 12 months).
- Criminal Background Check (state-specific)
- GNA license/certification in MD
- Dementia Training Certificate
- Exclusion Check
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
- Previous Experience as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to compassionate care and patient advocacy.
- Dementia care training & experience in providing care to patients with dementia.
