Together, we provide comprehensive services, including therapy, medication management, and resource linkage, to adult individuals with serious mental illness (SMI).
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in psychiatry
- Licensed in Pennsylvania
- Strong clinical skills with experience treating individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
- Clinical supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with the ACT model
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel within the coverage area
- Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments and treatment.
- Provide clinical supervision, education, and training to the team.
- Supervise medication management and psychiatric and medical treatment policies and procedures.
- Perform psychiatric assessments and present assessment results at team meetings and treatment plan meetings.
- Offer individual, group, and family supportive therapy, as well as psychotherapy and illness education.
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and conduct regular assessments of therapeutic responses and side effects.
- Collaborate with registered nurses in assessing client physical health and coordinating medical treatments with psychiatric treatment.
- Provide ongoing support, counseling, and education to team members and family members of clients.
- Offer crisis assessment and management during regular work hours, on-site, over the phone, and as on-call backup during other hours.
