Foley Equipment is Hiring a Customer Relations & Event Coordinator Near Kansas, MO
What You Will Do In This Job
- Manage the strategy and planning of meetings and special events such as factory tours, golf tournaments, customer events, trade shows, community events, dealer events, etc.
- Research and make recommendations for amenities and accommodations, and produce detailed proposals (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets).
- Overall responsibility for researching and making vendor recommendations, developing proposals and making detailed decisions to ensure a successful event outcome.
- Partner with other members of the Marketing and Sales teams on event execution.
- Set-up and tear down events.
- Communicate with sales department to ensure expectations are understood and met. Monitor expenses for reasonableness and properly code all invoices.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects.
- Ensure insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to.
- Manage Foley’s sports and entertainment ticket process including tracking, communication and distribution.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with event marketing.
- Basic computer skills and able to learn all pertinent company-related computer systems and functions
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work within a deadline driven environment and be professional under pressure
- Team player, positive attitude, and self-starter
- Associate’s degree preferred
