Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Parts Runner to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting parts from various locations using a company supplied vehicle. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable with heavy lifting, load/unload tasks, and route driving.
Duties:
- Transport parts to and from various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Load and unload parts from the truck using a pallet jack, as needed.
- Drive safely and efficiently to designated locations, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Perform heavy lifting duties, moving parts and equipment as required.
- Manage routes and schedules to minimize delays and optimize delivery times.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of parts.
- Monitor and report any issues or damages to the vehicle or equipment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of parts.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with heavy lifting, load/unload duties, and route driving.
- Proficiency in operating a pallet jack.
- Ability to navigate through busy routes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours of driving.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
