JOB SUMMARY: Work associated with this position requires performing general maintenance of stores. Aid in the construction of new stores or remodels, including store décor, placement of equipment in all departments, etc. Assist in resolving maintenance issues in a cost-effective manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain checkout lanes Maintenance of all store locks Maintenance of misting systems General maintenance of buildings Assist in setting and installing some store equipment Other duties as required Responsible for attending on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties Ensure all aspects of company policy and procedures in regard to good business and department practices are followed. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Working knowledge of electricity, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry Assist other maintenance personnel as needed Other tasks as assigned by the Senior Construction Manager JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate Experience in the electrical, construction, and/or maintenance fields Ability to assign work, recognize work related needs and make recommendations to pursue their successful conclusion Ability to follow instructions Must be professional, organized, and dependable Excellent oral and written communication skills; with the ability to communicate with all levels throughout the company Self-sufficient and able to work with minimal direct supervision Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license; frequent travel required.
