Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Produce Manager to join our team. As a Produce Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the produce department, ensuring high-quality products, exceptional customer service, and efficient team management. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the produce department, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising
- Ensure that the department is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
- Train and supervise a team of produce associates, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective strategies to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, maintain product quality, and source new products
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to make informed decisions regarding product selection and pricing

Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or produce management is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent math skills for inventory management, pricing calculations, and payroll processing
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Knowledge of retail management systems and software
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
