Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization's financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain accurate and timely financial records, including general ledger accounts and account analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Utilize financial software, such as QuickBooks, to manage and track financial transactions.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support the organization's financial planning and analysis.
- Perform technical accounting research and analysis as required.
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed, including preparing and reviewing financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and files, both physical and digital.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience in public accounting or as a bookkeeper for a private organization.
- Proficiency in financial software, including QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records and files.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $400.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
