The Surgery Scheduler duties involve making appointments, changing appointments, and canceling appointments. Additionally, they are responsible for payments and insurance processing. This professional will work in a clinic environment, and will be expected to work well in stressful situations, displaying a high degree of efficiency at all times.

At this clinic, surgery schedulers will work in an office with other administrative staff and are going to work at a front desk where they are able to interact with patients face to face. Surgery schedulers are expected to work in close contact with surgeons and doctors to manage their surgeries.

Requirements:

Surgery Scheduler Tasks

• Schedule surgical procedures by phone or in person.
• Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records and accounts, and greeting patients.
• Coordinate surgery procedures, surgeons, and equipment.
