JOB TITLE: Plant Manager II - Appleton

POSITION TYPE: Full time

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

The Plant Manager II oversees the full site operation at our Appleton, WI Plant. This position is responsible for creating a culture of safety and for achieving year over year operational improvement with safety, quality, service, value and teamwork. This individual will work as a member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team and contributes to the Co-Op's success by continually improving manufacturing processes and creating a culture of engagement that empowers all employees to drive high performance.

This position oversees the Assistant Plant Manager and indirectly leads the entire plant management team. Appleton has the cooperatives largest employee base, highest product volume and highest level of operational complexity.

Responsibilities:

• Establish operational strategic plans that align with and deliver the business strategy.
• Ensure and maintain a culture that aligns with the standards of Foremost Farms’ mission, values and purpose and work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Develop talent to prepare them for future assignments, creating a strong pipeline of future leaders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience
• HACCP

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in related field

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) Speaking/Writing experience preferred

· Budgeting experience

· Experience managing labor unions

· PCQI

· Prior Dairy experience

· LEAN manufacturing
