Job Summary:
Join our healthcare team as a Charge Nurse where you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee nursing staff on your unit, coordinate patient care, and ensure high-quality services are delivered. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care delivery
- Coordinate and prioritize patient assignments based on acuity and staffing levels
- Perform clinical assessments and provide direct patient care as needed
- Administer medications, including
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on treatment plans and disease management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Active RN/LPN license in Colorado
- Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred, but not required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Critical thinking skills to make quick decisions in emergency situations
