Food Service Director (CDM License)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Director to oversee our food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, kitchen management, and hospitality.
Duties:
- Develop and implement menus that meet nutritional guidelines and customer preferences
- Manage food and labor costs to meet budget targets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
- Oversee catering services for events and special functions
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements:
- Nursing Home Experience Preffered
- Proven experience in food service management, including kitchen and catering operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food safety standards
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on quality and consistency
