Forge Search + Consulting is Hiring a Director of Asset Management Near Greenville, SC

We are working on an exciting and unique role for a rapidly growing, privately held company in the Greenville, SC who is searching for a Director of Asset Management.
In this role, you will lead the operations related to inventory and recovery. You will coordinate with senior management and sales staff to foster continuous training development and implement strategies to drive performance. It will be important to effectively manage asset risk and uphold industry leading standards in asset recovery management.

Essential Duties & Functions
  • Ensure seamless coordination and efficient execution of tasks to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the retrieval operation, including prioritizing asset recovery efforts, conducting regular reviews of past due cases, and leveraging data analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Establish and enforce meticulous work standards within the team to ensure consistent and high-quality performance in asset management and inventory control.
  • Drive continuous learning and development initiatives for the team, including training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance skills and capabilities in asset recovery management.
  • Set clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback and coaching, and monitor team performance metrics to drive exceptional team performance and achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with dealers to elevate dealer service standards, foster strong relationships, and ensure timely and effective communication to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Orchestrate seamless coordination with senior management, sales staff, risk management, dealers, and contract drivers to align strategies, address challenges, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Take a proactive approach to managing asset risk by partnering with the Director of Risk
  • Conduct risk assessments, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within an asset finance environment with knowledge in collections, returns, repossession, litigation, and remarketing processes.
  • Proven expertise in asset recovery strategies, risk assessment, and risk mitigation techniques to manage asset risk effectively and safeguard company interests.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement motivational strategies, provide coaching and feedback, and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results and maintain high morale.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset recovery management and inventory control to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in asset recovery and inventory management to drive continuous improvement and maintain industry-leading standards.
