Postilion Overview: As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Formall Inc., you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of quality control at Formall, Inc., ensuring that products meet or exceed industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with Quality Policies: Enforce comprehensive quality control policies, procedures, and standards to guide production teams towards achieving quality objectives.
  • Training and Education: Educate project personnel and subcontractors on quality control processes to ensure uniform understanding and compliance.
  • Quality Inspections: Perform regular site inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Document Control: Keep precise records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for quality enhancement and collaborate with production teams on corrective and preventive measures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain current knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 regulations, standards, and codes, ensuring compliance.
  • Supplier and Subcontractor Oversight: Assess the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients on quality control issues, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing concerns swiftly.
  • Risk Management: Work with safety and risk management teams to identify and mitigate potential quality-related risks.
  • Reporting: Generate and present detailed quality control reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in quality control within the heavy manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of industry quality standards, regulations, and codes.
  • Strong leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
