Formosa Foods is Hiring a Staff Accountant II Near Dallas, TX
What You'll Do:
- Record, maintain, and monitor the general ledger, ensuring all types of transactions (purchases, sales, disposals...) are properly recorded, chart of accounts, bank transactions, prepare accounts reconciliations, and clear account errors.
- Perform month-end, quarterly, and year-end close responsibilities.
- Monitor cash flow, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, prepare cash flow statements, and perform cash management and controls.
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciations schedules for tax purposes.
- Oversee purchase order processing and manage 1099 processing.
- Assist in computing taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure taxes are paid properly and timely.
- Prepare consolidated internal/external financial statements and report financial information to the management team, summarizing the current and projected financial position.
- Produce financial data for the management team upon request and assist with other accounting projects.
- Review company accounting practices and recommend improvements.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
- Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
- Full-time position with an 8-hour shift.
