Monitor campus parking lots and halls as assigned and provide first line of assistance/intervention in dealing with related issues.
Job QualificationsEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to record information
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
- Ability to work effectively with high school students
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)
- Provide general supervision and security for campus parking lots
- Monitor student behavior and enforce school rules related to student conduct, vehicle operation, and parking
- Manage records related to student parking issues
- Work cooperatively with office personnel to inform staff of parking issues
- Assist law enforcement personnel with traffic management as needed
- Notify policy, fire department, or other appropriate authority of any situation requiring immediate attention
- Give directions or act as a guide to authorized visitors
- Apply equipment provided to immobilize vehicles associated with procedural violations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality
- Maintain emotional control under stress
