This position involves managing a team of Data Scientists to develop and implement data science solutions for various business divisions. The position requires leading complex projects, providing strategic direction, and ensuring solutions meet customer expectations. The focus areas include optimization, simulation, statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (Master's preferred). Experience: 10 years of experience in IT or in roles involving statistical analysis and machine learning/AI with increasing responsibility. Management: 4 years of experience in managing teams, as you will be managing a small team of 4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Data Science languages (Python/R, SQL) and advanced optimization techniques, such as linear optimization and evolutionary algorithms. Responsibilities Project Leadership: Lead complex data science projects, provide clear and actionable direction, and ensure solutions meet customer expectations. Collaboration: Work with business leaders to identify and quantify data science project opportunities, including estimating return on investment. Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and refine data science strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and advancing the practice within the organization.
