Role: Manager, Cloud infrastructure architecture

Overview:

Forsyth Barnes is partnered with a Giant in the convenience store and Gas station space, they are expanding their cloud architecture team – As the Manager of infrastructure architecture, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of network systems aimed at empowering our clients organization. You will take the lead in guiding a team of Architects onshore & offshore, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, and close engagement with stakeholders whilst spearheading initiatives geared towards fortifying our network infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week onsite at Charlotte, NC
• Extensive experience within an Azure environment
• Extensive experience in Databricks or snowflake, with a deep understanding of data warehousing.
• Extensive experience in Power BI
• Extensive Experience with cloud infrastructure management, including supporting & setting up data strategy.
• Strong Leadership skills such as, Mentoring, coaching, collaboration & forward thinking.
• strong communication skills & soft skills - able to use initiative and for clear solutions.
• Retail background preferred but not essential
