Job Description : Work Department Lead

Position Overview : We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Work Department Lead to oversee our workwear department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

As the Work Department Lead, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, leading a team of associates, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise a team of sales associates in the workwear department to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and visual displays, to optimize sales and meet customer demand.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase department profitability.
• Train and coach team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, KPIs, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and take proactive measures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including proper handling of merchandise and adherence to security protocols.
• Collaborate with store management and other department leads to achieve overall store objectives and initiatives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and recognition among team members.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in retail management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a workwear or similar department.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving business results, and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of workwear products, brands, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in retail management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
