Leave Replacement Special Education Preschool Teachers (2) - 2023-2024 School Year

November 2023 - June 2024

Salaried Position

Qualifications:

* Must hold a Preschool thru Grade 3 New Jersey Teaching Certification.

* Must hold a Teacher of Student with Disabilities or a Teacher of Handicapped New Jersey Teaching Certification.

* Experience working with Preschool students.

* Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards.

* Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions: Two leave replacement positions, both run from November 2023 - June 2024 with the possibility of extending through June 2025 for one position.

Position Start Date: September 1, 2023

Base Salary: $59,875.00 no benefits. Position is paid a salary from day one. Paid time off includes 7 sick days, 1 personal day and 3.5 emergency days and paid school holidays.

Effective September 1, 2011, all employees of school districts must reside in the State of New Jersey, unless exempted under law. If you already work for the school district as of September 1, 2011, and you do not live in New Jersey, you are not required to move to New Jersey. However, if you begin your office, position or employment on September 1, 2011 or later, you must reside in New Jersey. If you do not reside in New Jersey, you have one year after the date you take your office, position or employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey. If you do not do so, you are subject to removal from your office, position or employment.
