Position Summary:

Academics Advisors are responsible for enrolling new and continuing students into programs at the college. This speaking with prospective students via phone and in person, following up with consistently with inquiries, interviewing and touring prospective students, and guiding the prospective students through the enrollment process.

Summary of Duties & Responsiblities:

  • Recruit qualified students for the school's programs in a complaint, appropriate, and professional manner
  • Utilize company approved materials during all interactions and enrollment process
  • Comfortable making outbound calls/accepting inbound calls daily as this is a significant component of the role
  • Follow up on inquiries that have not schedule an appointment, and inquiries that did not show for an appointment
  • Meet with prospective students and tour the campus while discussing their needs, interests, and motivations for attending school, getting a thorough understanding of their career goals while addressing any concerns/barriers to completing their education
  • Provide information to prospective students regarding the entrance requirements, the programs offered and guide them through the application process
  • Uphold company standards and comply with all regulations and accreditation standards
  • Maintain productivity goals based on campus needs, generate personally developed leads/referrals
  • Must have regular and reliable attendance to be successful in this position

Summary of Requirements:

  • Associate degree required, bachelor degree preferred
  • 1 or more years of experience in customer service
  • 1 or more years of experience in sales/marketing
  • Call center experience is highly desired
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, CRMs, and web-based platforms
  • Possess and upbeat, professional, team player attitude
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Time and task oriented with strong attention to details
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment that can be stressful at times
  • Represent the company in a professional manner with all customers, personnel, vendors, and students

Classification: Non-exempt, hourly position

Work Hours: 40 hours/5 days per week, hours may vary daily with 2 late nights until 8pm, and rotating Saturdays

Travel: Minimal

Work Environment: In-person, client facing

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
