THIS IS AN ONSITE POSTION IN NASHVILLE, TN. MUST LIVE IN NASHVILLE AREA. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

This is a full-time, salaried position. Annual salary based upon direct experience and qualifications.

Surgical Technology Program Director is the lead administrator for the program and, as such, is responsible for developing, coordinating and administering the program including training and supervision of all instructors, Clinical Coordinator, as well as student retention activities within the department. This position will also be responsible for all student support activities, orientations, answering technology questions, assisting students with online learning platforms utilized and reporting to the Education Department on student performance/attendance and grading for all ST students.

Demonstrates excellent teaching qualities and sets a positive example for other instructors regarding appropriate dress, class preparation, punctuality, student assessment and a student-centered approach to classroom instruction.

Position requires:

Must be currently Certified as Surgical Technologist

Must have a Bachelor Degree.

Must have 5 years of direct experience in Surgical Technology or Scrub Role

• Documented expertise in academic subject area as demonstrated by data sheets, diplomas, transcripts, certifications and/or résumés.
• Documented experience in Surgical Technology duties
• Expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience as an ST
• Knowledge and experience with Canvas Learning Platform highly preferable
• Teaching experience of at least 3 years.
• Bachelor's Degree Required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
