Are you ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic storage facility? Fortress RV and Boat Storage is seeking a General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our storage facility, deliver outstanding customer service, manage administrative tasks, and supervise maintenance staff.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:

• Assist customers professionally, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate solutions.
• Lease boat and RV storage units efficiently via a contactless, paperless process for a seamless customer experience.

Administrative Duties:

• Monitor storage software daily, promptly responding to inquiries and emails.
• Ensure timely payments and accurate records for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Collaborate with the accountant for monthly sales tax payments and weekly billing for electricity usage.

Facility Management:

• Supervise maintenance staff, assign tasks, and conduct property audits for security and maintenance.
• Monitor security cameras and address any issues promptly.
• Regularly inspect amenities to ensure they are in optimal condition.

Marketing and Promotion:

• Conduct marketing visits to local businesses to promote Fortress and attract potential customers.
• Implement digital marketing strategies, including social media management and online advertising.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Review text messages, assign tasks, and manage inquiries on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with the team to support the smooth operation of the facility.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in self-storage, customer service, or property management preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to be available for after-hour calls and emergencies as needed.
