Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:The Returns Operations & Reverse Logistics Manager is responsible for managing and driving all internal and external activities related to product returns, operations capacity planning, and delivery to commit across FBIN Globally. To succeed in this role, you must be a data driven, business-oriented individual with a strategic mindset, who is able to deliver successfully for the customer through collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will not only ensure global execution and delivery, you will set the organization's foundational capability with the development of strategic initiatives supporting long-term goals, enabling the business to scale with efficient Returns operations across multiple sites and business units.
Position location – This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule. You can expect to work Tuesday – Thursday onsite at one of our hub offices (Oak Creek, WI; Deerfield, IL; Maumee, OH; North Olmsted, OH) while Monday and Friday are remote.
Responsibliities
  • Establish the strategy and develop mechanisms to create and manage complex reverse supply chains using analytics and critical thinking to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. Translate these insights into actionable recommendations to enable decision making and optimize Returns business processes.
  • Develop processes, systems & guiderails to drive best practices across all FBIN businesses to reduce overall cost of Customer returns to the business.
  • Create guidance on best practices for customer contracts, logistics, supply chain footprint, partnerships and investment for Customer Returns. Drive guidance cross functionally with Business Units across FBIN.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize the return process, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify organizational investment and footprint opportunities to enable efficient Returns processing and logistics.
  • Delivery & clearly communicate status on any Returns improvement projects with Operations leadership and
  • Manage central Returns teams and mentor return processing & salvage operation managers at various locations across FBIN.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years experience in Operations, Logistics, Quality &/or Product Development - retail returns experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple disciplines and levels, ranging from senior management to peers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and commitment to world class Operations, manufacturing, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions. Working knowledge of analytical tools such as Qliksense &/or Tableau preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail. Does not let important details slip through the cracks. Has a grasp on business financials and where they come from.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.
