Job Description

As a Manager of Partner Integrations at Fortune Brands Security (Yale, August, Sentry Safe, and Master Lock), you will be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technologies, including SDKs and APIs, as well as communication protocols such as Zigbee, Matter, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, and BLE. You will be the driving force in bringing innovative solutions to life, working with partners such as Apple, Google, Samsung, and Amazon to enhance our suite of smart security products and help partners choose the right technology combination.

The ideal candidate will have Experience in building and integrating APIs, or SDKs with a focus on smart home protocols such as Zigbee, Matter, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, and BLE, be extremely autonomous, and be able to travel overnight about 40% of the time.

This remote position is based in San Francisco, CA. We will provide laptop, and cell phone and the salary range is anywhere from a base of $81-113K with a bonus opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of our technologies into a broad range of partner experiences for our security products.
• Oversee cross-functional projects and manage integration points between systems like APIs, SDKs, and other smart home / communication protocols.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the home automation and security business, bridging the gap between traditional systems and modern smart home ecosystems.
• Utilize outstanding communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technologies and strategies at all organizational levels.
• Exercise high emotional intelligence, empathizing with partners and team members to ensure collective success.
• Guide our products through phases of integration, ensuring all technical aspects meet our rigorous standards and contribute to seamless market launches.
• Evaluate and prioritize partnerships, driving the adoption of our technologies and achieving alignment across the company on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of industry experience in engineering, product management, or partner integration roles, preferably with exposure to Home Automation and Commercial Security.
• Experience in building and integrating APIs, or SDKs with a focus on smart home protocols such as Zigbee, Matter, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, and BLE.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams for success.
• Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, coupled with an excellent eye for detail.
• A self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and manage conflict constructively.
• A deep commitment to integrity and the ability to work closely with external partners to understand their needs and integrate their feedback into product development.

Additional Information

Hiring Pay Range: $80,000 - $113,000

*Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors
