As a Marketing Event Planner, you will report to the region's Strategic Marketing Director / Senior Manager / Manager and support the region's marketing & business development efforts, mainly in the area of event management.

You will coordinate event planning for virtual and in-person Forvis Mazars events, as well as events co-sponsored with referral sources, and the firm's participation in industry associations events.

This individual will also assist the region with internal and external communications related to events to drive accountability, attendance, increase brand awareness, and build our pipeline.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented with exceptional organizational and communication skills, has effective project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines, and has experience in the events industry as well as understand and use various virtual platforms-Go-to-Webinar, Microsoft Teams and Zoom-and social media platforms.

The Marketing Event Planner demonstrates professionalism, a cheerful outlook, has strong verbal and written communication skills, and handles pressure and change well.

How you will contribute :

• Under the direction of the Strategic Marketing Director / Senior Manager / Manager & with guidance from marketing managers, coordinate events hosted or co-sponsored by the firm & / or in association with the industry organizations in which our firm participates
• Coordinates Forvis Mazars-hosted & / or co-sponsored events, focusing needs of target audience to include location / venue, platform / venue details, in-session / onsite details, invitations, etc.
• Coordinate association & conference logistics for events & displays.
• Follow firm's Event Management SOPs to ensure events details are managed appropriately
• Coordinate virtual platform needs with studio team.
• Communicate accurately, timely, & effectively with Forvis Mazars stakeholders & attendees
• Adhere to CPE compliance guidelines to ensure events are CPE compliant
• Maintain records of event correspondences, purchase orders, contracts, etc.
• Provide onsite support when necessary
• Develop external communications on social media & with associations & referral sources regarding events & develop a consistent external follow up & ongoing messaging to the marketplace with the goal of increasing the quantity & quality of prospects in the sales funnel.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 1 year or more of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of multimedia & audio-visual equipment
• Microsoft Office suite application skills
• Virtual platform knowledge : Zoom, Microsoft Teams, & Go-to-Webinar
