Forward Air is Hiring a Credit Analyst Near Greeneville, TN
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review and process credit applications for potential customers
- Analyze credit data and payment history to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit within the current company guidelines
- Analyze risk comparing credit limit and terms to open balance
- Initial entry and maintenance of account in Customer Data Maintenance system
- Assist Credit Supervisor in identifying high risk customers
- Validate that new accounts are set up with appropriate credit limits, terms, risk level, and relationships
- Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve credit issues
- Deactivate accounts as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- College degree preferred
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Experience in credit and collections and billing procedures preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to detail
