Job Description:
 

• Develops, designs, verifies, and documents ASIC and FPGA development.
• Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Assignments include the analysis of all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization.
• Typically uses specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.

Responsibilities: 

• A clear technical expert within a particular area of the department’s technical responsibilities
• Regarded as the project-wide technical expert in area of contribution
• Has the vision and technical skills to relate technologies and business plans for group and other group’s projects.
• Co-develops project-level standard and requirements
• Develops new technical principles and concepts in area of contribution
• Actively creates company intellectual property.
• Aware of external technical advancements substantiated with understanding of the state-of-the-art.
• Contributions can either be across a broad technical range or an in-depth contribution in a specific area.

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
