COMPENSATION: $16.00 - $18.00/hour, depending on experience

HOURS PER WEEK: Varies – Full Time

DAYS REQUIRED: Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays

The Arnold House’s team is made up of folks obsessed with details, great communication, and creating unforgettable memories for our guests. This summer, with the launch of The Arnold House’s brand new outdoor pool, we are looking for team members to join us for Hospitality experience is preferred, but not required - a hospitality mindset is necessary.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome guests and ensure their safety and comfort, providing guests with towels, shade, refreshments, and attending to their requests
• Take drink and food orders from the restaurant’s to-go menu and assist the restaurant in delivering orders to guests as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the pool area.
• Prepare pool area for guest arrival in the morning, and ensure that the pool area is closed down as per the relevant check lists at the end of the day
• Stock water and snack bar, supply closets, and towel storage as assigned
• Assist with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to maintain the facility and prepare for special events.
• Regularly collect water samples from the hot tub and pool
• Ensure compliance with all company safety protocols, including those specific to Covid-19
• Other duties as assigned

Where You’ll Work:

839 Shandelee Road, Livingston Manor, NY 12758

Work will be performed usually indoors, with regular travel between buildings year-round. Have a keen understanding of all guest spaces within the property, including all rooms, grounds, common spaces.

Physical Requirements:

This position can be physically demanding – standing, stooping, crouching, traveling between buildings outdoors, and performing repetitive tasks for a long period of time. Walking up and down stairs may be required. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
