- Welding and fabrication using mig-welding equipment.
- Lay out, cut, and prepare materials for welding.
- Fabricates a variety of regular and irregular parts.
- Perform various fit up and welding processes in all positions.
- Use plasma torch for trimming fittings.
- Repairs damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
- Verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
- Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely.
- 1 year of related experience in an Automotive Body Shop environment required.
- Ability to read tape measure accurately.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
- Mechanical skills preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening
- Authorization to work in the USA.
