Foundation for Positively Kids is Hiring a Registered Nurse - Pediatrics Near Las Vegas, NV

We are looking for an RN to provide nursing care to children from 0 to 18 years of age who are placed protective care at the Child Haven campus.
We offer competitive pay and PTO. Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage will be available after July.
Daily duties include:
- Intake assessments and releases
- Medication administration
- Taking sick calls
- Demonstrating the ability to care for children who have been abused and/or neglected
- Working closely with the onsite medical clinic and the Department of Family Services staff to ensure continuity of care.
Position Details
- Location: 701 N. Pecos Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89101
- Shift: Weekends, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and/or 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Employment class: Full-time (36 hours per week) or Part-time (12-24 hours per week
- Pay: Base is $40/hour, $3 for night shift and $3 for weekend differential
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- RN/pediatric experience preferred
- Active, unencumbered Nevada RN license
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Physical, background check, CANS, and drug screen clearance
