We are currently hiring a full time Patient Accounts Rep for Fremont Hospital !
The Patient Accounts Rep is responsible for the effective and creative use of proven follow-up techniques, and self-directed initiative, to contact patients and third party payers to collect payments and resolve outstanding account balances.
The Patient Accounts Rep's responsibility includes the oversight and management of outstanding accounts receivable assigned to the Patient Accounts Rep in a manner which will maximize the collection of cash and achieve the hospital’s financial and business office performance objectives.
The Patient Accounts Rep will work closely with collection agencies to organize the placement and recovery of bad debts.
The Patient Accounts Rep is an integral part of the Business Office team and is responsible for ensuring that cash collections are maximized while the level of outstanding accounts receivable is maintained at or above defined targets.
The Patient Accounts Rep is responsible for gathering and communicating critical information, which will enable the hospital to meet all known payer requirements and thereby minimize the risk of payment reduction or denial.

Qualifications
