Founders National Golf Llc is Hiring a BANQUET EVENT SALES MANAGER FT-Litchfield Near Pawleys Island, SC
Duties and Responsibilities:
Solicits sales daily to new, prospective, and previous clients.
Partner with Human Resources on posting jobs, employee selection, hiring, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and problem solving.
Actively Drives Corporate Sales in the local market.
Provides tours and offers suggestions in efforts to sell the facility.
Sells all available space for F&B and Non-F&B events to maximize sales and to exceed budgeted revenue.
Each month review the next 6 months availability to highlight high or low demand dates and take steps to minimize the risk of any shortfall or overbooking; reviews upcoming events with staff and management on a regular basis.
Actively involved and responsible for the execution of all Events
Constantly strive to improve customer satisfaction and responds to customer inquiries and complaints.
Maximize the club’s profitability from the overall Banquet and Event Sales function as well as all F&B related events and maintains a monthly banquet forecast for review.
Ensure billing forms are completed in a timely manner.
Assists with Banquet and F&B line items in annual and monthly budgets.
Attends all trade shows and conventions within the market area.
Communicate effectively and directly with F&B Manager, Banquet captain, GM, and Director of F&B
Assures all food service is within company standards.
Responsible for the execution of all functions including room set up of all events.
Maintains levels of supplies for operation.
Maintains club appearance; keeps all storage areas clean and organized.
Conducts self in a professional manner and ensures staff members also maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
Promote a positive relationship with team members in all departments and divisions.
Coordinate deliveries and setup of all outside vendors
Qualification-Requirements Experience - Education
Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company, state, and federal requirements.
Reports all safety or hazard concerns to management.
Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years in related field with management experience.
ServSafe Manager Certification
Must have fundamental computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office, and ability to use company point of sale systems and other company required computer programs.
Ability to establish & maintain strong & effective relationships with customers, vendor partners, and staff.
Excellent written and oral skills
Maintain professional appearance.
Passionate about food & beverage industries.
Exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
