The PART-TIME LEASING AGENT is responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals

Duties include but may not be limited to the following. MUST HAVE LEASING EXPERIENCE.

· Greets and welcomes all visitors, residents, and prospective residents.

· Tours the property and apartments with future residents.

· Accepts and completes required application information from the prospective residents

· Responsible for daily marketing efforts through online apps and/or other outreach

· Minimum of 12 months experience in multi-family housing strongly preferred.

· Must BE ABLE TO SELL AND CLOSE THE DEAL

· Have good verbal and written communication.

· Be able to provide great customer service at all times.

· Answers telephone inquiries. Encourage prospects to schedule appointments by utilizing creative closing techniques and overcoming objections.

· Must be knowledgeable regarding the apartment community, its amenities, the surrounding community, and its competition.

· Exhibits a positive customer service attitude and represents the community and company well.

· Carefully conducts application verification process to ensure qualified applicants and submits to manager for approval.

· Inspects rented unit and checks keys well in advance of move in date.

· Prepares lease agreement. Collects initial fees and assists resident throughout move in process.

· Performs any additional duties assigned by Manager

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
