Shifts needed can vary weekly based on events. Availability to work Mothers Day and Easter is a requirement for the role based on business needs.

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and event guests
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • T.I.P.S. certificate
  • At least 2 years experience as a bartender
  • Knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

The hiring range for this position is $7.60-$9.50 per hour tips. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience. This position is eligible to participate in an incentive plan, career development opportunities, free meals, and Sheraton/Marriott employee discount at participating hotels.
