Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership is Hiring an Issues Management Software Design and Deployment Near Paducah, KY

Position OverviewUnder limited supervision, performs Contractor Performance Assurance Program support for the Performance Assurance (PA) team. Typical job duties are routine and require use of standard techniques and procedures. The Issues Management Software Design & Deployment Specialist is responsible for:
  • Understanding the background issues management module and Quality Management System (QMS) software programming functionality and performing software testing and validations for patches, changes, and upgrades.
  • Developing issues management software views and reports to support FRNP operations, metrics, and Senior Management requests.
  • Maintaining data tables to support drop-down menus.
  • Deploying QMS modules including scheduling demonstrations and accesses to quality and development environments for testing and validation.
  • Developing deployment schedules for QMS Modules.
  • Completing requirements and maintaining credentials to be a "Named Caller" with the issues management software Help Center.
  • Developing issues management software and QMS training to support module deployment.
  • Supporting issues management software QMS Module users with technical or software questions and support needs.
  • Troubleshooting issues management software and QMS Module issues for users.
  • Interfacing with FRNP Information Technology resources, as needed.
  • Tracking user metrics related to usage logs and certificates held.
  • Ensuring Cyber Security requirements are implemented and maintained for the issues management software and QMS.
  • Maintaining the content of Software and Deployment-related training modules and alignment with associated procedures.
  • Developing/entering/tracking data related to OE/LL metrics and the accuracy of said data.
  • Implementing the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and Electronic Information Systems (EIS) requirements for the QMS and ensuring the SQA and EIS documentation is evaluated and revised, if needed, for each module deployed.
  • Serving as the Backup Issues Management Coordinator, specifically with facilitating Screening Committee Meetings, generating reports, re-setting passwords, creating and/or deactivating user accounts, and responding to help requests from internal customers.
  • Conducting classroom instruction in accordance with CP3-TR-0102, Conduct of Training.
  • Maintaining technical content expertise and Classroom Instructor Qualification.
  • Planning and preparing department documents and procedures in accordance with FRNP requirements and with sufficient self-checking and peer and/or management reviews to minimize errors and factual inaccuracies.
Minimum Requirements (Education And Experience)BA/BS degree in Information Technology is preferred, HS Diploma/GED is required; 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Typical experience ranges from 3-5 years.
Working ConditionsWorks in an office environment at a normal environmental restoration atmosphere (outdated and/or abandoned facilities). Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards, dangerous chemicals/solvents or hazardous and radioactive materials if proper safety procedures are not followed.
Ability to perform sedentary to light work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (any exertion of force/lifting greater than 45 pounds requires usage of a two person "buddy system"), non-repetitive, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly, repetitive; performing such activities as lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, grasping, kneeling, stooping, reaching.
Ability to perform primary office duties including heavy computer usage.
In some cases radiological training may be required.
