Four Seasons Roofing is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Farmingdale, NY

We are seeking an ambitious, motivated Construction Cost Estimator/Salesman with experience in construction sales for a role at a growing exterior renovation company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Project and control construction costs of labor and material for external construction projects of existing structures, and based off of architectural plans.
  • Prepare projects and estimates per bid procedure requirements.
  • Analysis of construction drawings and specifications using CAD programs and estimating software, such as On-Screen Takeoff, Edge Estimating, and Nearmaps.
  • Obtain and identify qualified bids and documents from vendors and General Contractors
  • Evaluate changes, additions, and revisions timely and efficiently, in coordination with owner, contractors, engineers and architects as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain networking connections with vendors and subcontractors

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales & Negotiating skills
  • Estimating / Material Take-Offs
  • Architectural Drawing Analysis - read and develop cost estimates
  • Time Management / Scheduling Skills
  • Computer Skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Auto CAD programs
  • Excellent understanding of Commercial Construction process
  • Experience in construction and/or engineering a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal
  • Spanish speaking a plus
