Business Analyst

We are seeking a meticulous Business Process Analyst specializing in Finance and Accounting to oversee the seamless execution of projects and enhance operational efficiencies within our Accounting Systems operations. As a pivotal member of our team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and budget. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing project scopes, objectives, and detailed plans to monitor progress effectively. You will employ robust verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs while measuring performance using industry-leading systems and tools. Reporting directly to management, you will manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations while performing comprehensive risk management to mitigate project risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, engaging stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
• Create detailed project plans and track progress against milestones.
• Employ appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measure project performance using established systems, tools, and techniques.
• Report project status and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough risk management to minimize potential project disruptions.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Forecast financial requirements, prepare budgets, and analyze variances.
• Initiate corrective actions to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Enhance department and organizational reputation by delivering exceptional results and exploring opportunities to add value.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role in Finance/Accounting, ideally within Management or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget constraints.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of financial systems and processes, particularly in Accounting Systems.
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

• Valid drivers license required. Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned area. This position requires regular business travel mostly by car within a set geographic region.
• Ability to carry and transport professional sales samples and literature.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
• Frequent talking, hearing, visual acuity (detail/accuracy), and repetitive motion
