Our company is currently seeking ​an Accounts Payables Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have office and some bookkeeping experience, and knowledge of Excel. This is a Full-time position at a Dothan, AL location.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
• Handling accounts payable for numerous locations, separate entities and vendors
• Analyzing workflow processes
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Setting up Checks to be run on weekly, monthly, Quarterly, and annual bases
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts

Qualifications:

• Previous experience 2 years in accounting, finance, or another related field
• Bachelors in Finance, business or accounting Plus
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Strong mathematical and calculations Skills
• Good listening and communication skills
