Fox & Roach/Trident is Hiring a Dir, Recruiting Near Devon, PA

Purpose of Job

This position recruits sales agents and oversees company’s sales associates recruiting activities. May coordinate recruiting seminars and programs and assist in the retention of current agents through public relations efforts.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

  • Recruit and conduct interviews of new and experienced sales associates from competing companies. (50-60%)
  • Maintain and stimulate a positive atmosphere for agents and employees. Provide advice and counsel sales associates to deal effectively with career issues. (5-10%)
  • Conduct career nights or assist sales managers to do the same. Handle and resolve customer complaints as necessary. (0-10%)
  • Coordinate recruiting activities of the branch managers and conduct recruiting seminars for new agents. (0-10%)
  • May encourage and assist sales managers to develop techniques and skills, which optimize the agent potential in real estate sales. Assist in the retention of agents using various recognition methods. Assist sales managers in developing activities that support all brokerage goals. (0-10%)
  • May participate in manager and other meetings and events including real estate related local and state meetings and, if possible, participate on boards at a local level. (0-5%)
  • Attend special events to maintain visibility in the community to facilitate recruiting and further the company’s exposure. (0-5%)
  • May perform administrative activities necessary for budget administration and planning, organizing, integrating, measuring, and reporting work performance. (0-5%)
  • May assist in the development of new policies and procedures and make recommendations for changes when necessary (0-5%).
  • May administer the sales associates benefits program and complete necessary reports as required. May provide feedback on employee morale and suggest corrective action as appropriate (0-5%).
  • May encourage participation by agents in the company’s core services. (0-5%)
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

  • Meet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management.
  • Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.
  • Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.
  • Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resource management or related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • Three to five years recruiting or related experience including supervisory/management responsibilities.
  • Five years real estate experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and email.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, a customer service focus and leadership abilities.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently.

Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):

  • May need current real estate broker’s license
  • May need other related real estate designations including GRI, CRB or be working to attain them.
