We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill the position of Cold Food Prep in the Marquee Club.
The Line Cook will assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with the Marquee Club culinary operations, preparation of concession food offerings for theatre events, and other Fox Theatre culinary needs.

The candidate should have experience in international foods and tapas styles and must have experience in the cold side of the menu.
Major Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing all culinary requirements for the Marquee Club, along with theatre concessions, and other culinary needs
• Follow the production schedule and all sanitation, and local health codes when handling, storing, preparing, and cooking all food items
• Assist in inventory control by physical inventories and following policies and procedures on the internal transfer system.
• Assist in maintaining waste logs
• Assist Chef in menu development, plating, and garnish guidelines
• Assist in maintaining and cleaning all kitchen equipment
• Follow the kitchen opening and close-down process
• Work with Food and Beverage management on special requirements for both public and private events
• Attend Fox Theatre and Marquee Club meetings
• Other duties as directed

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Culinary degree preferred or 2-3 years of cold prep experience
• Minimum 2 years cold prep experience with private club, fine dining restaurant, or catering operations
• Should have State of Georgia Server Safe food handling certificate and working knowledge of HACCP guidelines
• Should have varied culinary knowledge of cold food styles
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with last-minute changes to guest counts and popup events.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Walking and standing during the entire shift.
• Continuously reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, stooping, and wiping.
• Remaining stationary for long periods.
• Frequently climbing stairs.
• Be Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
