QualificationsWe are looking for a dynamic tennis professional with proven leadership and organizational skills. The ideal candidate should have experience coordinating and expanding junior tennis programs. Minimum requirements include college-level or professional circuit play, teaching or coaching experience, and USPTA or USPTR certification. Thorough knowledge of the tennis industry, USTA, and tennis programming and instruction techniques is essential. A preferred candidate would be a graduate of an accredited university with at least 10 years of experience as an instructor or tennis administrator. A competitive tennis background, including USTA and college-level play, is required. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to develop and implement program goals and curriculums effectively. DutiesReporting to the Tennis Manager, this role involves overseeing the quality and growth of all FVPD junior tennis programs, providing instruction and supervision. Emphasis will be placed on recruiting, developing, and retaining young tennis players across different age groups and skill levels. The position also involves training, developing, and supervising pro staff. Responsibilities include on-court group instruction and off-court administrative tasks, as assigned. This position is at-will. This role primarily requires evening and weekend availability during the indoor season, with daytime and weekend hours during the outdoor season. Employment Type: Other
