JOB DESCRIPTION FOX News Media is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director, Digital Strategy to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Direct-to-Consumer research methodologies, data analysis, and statistical modeling, as well as a strong business acumen. This role will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization, identifying insights and trends, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth. This position reports to the VP, Platforms Strategy & Operations. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the VP, Platform Strategy and Operations to develop and implement comprehensive Direct-to-Consumer research and analytics strategies to support business objectives and drive growth for video on demand. Design and execute Direct-to-Consumer testing, pricing, conversion rates, churn, cohorts, and segmentation studies. Analyze large datasets using advanced statistical techniques and tools to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations. Develop predictive models and conduct forecasting to support business planning and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial, marketing, product, and finance, to identify research needs and provide actionable insights. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and analytics trends, methodologies, and tools, and incorporate them into the organization's practices. Present research findings and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders clearly and concisely. Manage research and analytics budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment. WHAT YOU WILL NEED Proven track record of successfully driving data-driven decision-making and delivering impactful insights for a Direct-to-Consumer entity. Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field. Extensive experience with statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization tools such as R, Python, SQL, and Tableau. Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for streaming data. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a curious and analytical mindset. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $140,000.00-196,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
