Purpose:
The Staff Accountant I is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely daily invoicing and efficient EDI processing. This role will also handle billing various order entry tasks, and will grow into higher level accounting work as department needs arise.

Education, Training and/or Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Corporate Finance, or closely related field.
2. Previous experience, minimum one (1) year, in general accounting or general ledger, is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in processing invoices.
Associates degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
Familiarity with manufacturing, order entry and shipping processes.
Previous experience with invoicing in an automated system, resolving questions and related inquiries regarding invoices, and performing accounting reconciliations.
Physical Demands:
Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment. Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set-up and maintain work files. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. independently. May require evening and weekend hours as business needs demand.

Work performed in a manufacturing and general office environment.
